How to Use
- Prepare Your Pot or Indoor Planter
Choose a clean coir pot or a ceramic, terracotta, or decorative pots with drainage holes
If using a pot without holes, create a drainage layer (e.g., pebbles) at the bottom to avoid root rot.
- Open the Bag
Carefully open your 20L DomusCoir® compost bag using scissors or a garden knife.
- Fill Your Pot or Container
Use gloves or gardening tool and a scoop to transfer the DomusCoir® compost.
Fill your container approximately ¾ full with DomusCoir®, leaving enough space for your houseplant and watering.
- Pot or Repot Your Houseplant
Gently remove your plant from its current container, tease the roots if root-bound, and place it in the new coir pot.
Fill around the roots with DomusCoir®, pressing lightly to secure the plant without compacting the compost.
- Water Gently
Water lightly after potting to settle the DomusCoir® compost and support root adjustment.
Avoid overwatering—DomusCoir® retains moisture well while supporting airflow for healthy root systems.
- Maintain Regular Houseplant Care
Water your houseplants according to their needs—some prefer moist soil, others need it to dry out between watering.
Place in suitable light (bright indirect is ideal for most indoor plants) and monitor for signs of under- or overwatering.
