This means it is also free of other harmful materials such as peat and environmentally unfriendly chemicals. Our products are ethically sourced from Sri Lanka, which means we have set in place operations, procedures and policies to ensure that ethical business practices are followed throughout the production and sourcing of our products. We also ensure fair wages and fair working conditions are provided in our factories.

We started CoirProducts.co.uk because we saw how customers were being overcharged for many of the products they buy – especially in smaller quantities. We were also alarmed at how little knowledge there was of the wide variety of coir-based products that are available for horticulture, and this is why we have built the largest portfolio of coir products in the UK to date, and we are proud to have brought never-before-seen product varieties to the UK market.
And we continue to innovate. We introduced our Coir Potting Mix in a range of different sizes of blocks, bricks, and discs; our biodegradable Coir Pots in a variety of new and exciting sizes; and our CoirCoins, contained with a fully biodegradable cover, are just a few examples of the unique product variations we have brought to the market.
