Their very own little garden starts here

There’s something rather special about watching a child plant a seed for the first time. A little water, a little patience, and suddenly there’s something new to look for each morning.

Created for those first gardening discoveries, the GrowWithCoir® My Little Gardener Bundle brings the essentials together in one charming kit. It’s a simple way to introduce children to growing — at home, in the garden or as a shared weekend activity.

Small beginnings, big discoveries

From preparing the coir growing medium to sowing seeds and caring for young plants, each stage gives children a chance to take part. They can learn how plants change, discover the importance of light and water, and enjoy the satisfaction of tending something they have planted themselves.

What’s included

• Coir seed starter pots
  • Expanding coir growing discs
  • A selection of seeds suitable for the kit
  • Gardening instructions and an activity guide

The listing does not specify the exact quantities, seed varieties or number of pots. Add those details to the live product page once confirmed.

A gift that grows beyond the day it’s opened

Unlike a toy that is quickly put aside, a growing kit invites children to return to it. Checking for new shoots, feeling the growing medium and noticing the first leaves all become part of the experience. It’s an enjoyable introduction to gardening for children, with a little help from a grown-up.

Why coir?

Coir is a plant-based growing material made from coconut husk fibre. The compressed discs are compact to store and expand when water is added, making preparation part of the fun. The coir pots offer a convenient place to start young plants before they need more growing space.

Made for first-time growers

There is no need to have a large garden. A suitable bright growing spot, careful watering and a little attention are a good place to begin. As seedlings develop, some plants may need to be moved into larger pots or planted outside when conditions are suitable.

GrowWithCoir® is the children’s growing range from CoirProducts® — coir specialists for British growers since 2015.
