Little seeds. Colourful discoveries.

There is something rather special about planting a tiny seed and coming back each day to see what has changed. One morning there is only compost. Then a small green shoot appears — and suddenly it is a garden project worth talking about.

GrowWithCoir® Flower Power turns that simple moment into a hands-on introduction to growing flowers. Created for young gardeners and anyone who enjoys the pleasure of starting from seed, this compact kit makes a thoughtful present and an enjoyable activity to share at home.

A first flower garden, all their own

Children can prepare the coir, sow their seeds, label their pot and take part in looking after the young plants. Along the way, they can notice how water, light and patience make a difference. It is an invitation to get involved, ask questions and enjoy the process — not just the flowers at the end.

What is included?

• One coir growing pot
• One compressed Coir Vital Grow® growing disc, to expand with water
• One packet of flower seeds, according to the variety selected
• One plant label

The product listing references pansies, sunflowers, wildflowers and roses. Confirm the actual live variation choices and seed specifications before publishing or illustrating the options.

Why families love Flower Power

• A manageable introduction to gardening, with the essentials together in one kit
• A lovely shared activity for parents, grandparents and children

• A compact starting point for a windowsill or sheltered growing space, subject to the needs of the chosen flowers

How to get growing

1. Prepare  Place the coir disc in a suitable container and add water gradually. Allow it to expand, then loosen the growing medium.
2. Fill  Add the hydrated coir to the growing pot, leaving a little room at the top.
3. Sow  Follow the seed packet instructions for sowing depth, spacing, temperature and light; these vary by flower variety.
4. Label  Write the flower name on the label and place it in the pot.
5. Care  Keep the medium appropriately moist rather than waterlogged, and provide the light and warmth recommended for the selected seeds.
6. Grow on  Move seedlings into a larger container or suitable outdoor position when needed, following the seed variety’s growing guidance.

For younger children, an adult should supervise seed handling, watering and any subsequent transplanting. Germination and flowering depend on seed type, season and growing conditions.

Choose a flower they will enjoy growing

From cheerful seasonal flowers to taller varieties, each seed choice offers its own growing experience. Before choosing, check the packet guidance for final plant size, sowing season and whether the variety is suitable for your available space. Some flowers may need a larger pot or an outdoor growing area as they develop.

Made with coir. Made for curiosity.

At the heart of the kit is Coir Vital Grow® –  a coir-based growing medium that expands when water is added. The coir pot and disc make the first steps of sowing pleasantly hands-on, giving children the chance to see and feel how a compressed growing medium becomes ready for planting.

GrowWithCoir® is the children’s growing range from CoirProducts®, coir specialists for British growers since 2015. A Grower’s Choice.
