From The Earth, Back To The Earth!
Why Coir Netting Is a Must‑Have for Sustainable Gardens
- 100 % Natural & Biodegradable – Made from renewable coconut husk coir, our netting is fully biodegradable and completely free from plastics. Unlike synthetic alternatives, it returns to the soil at the end of its life — supporting healthier ecosystems and reducing micro‑plastic pollution.
- Gentle Yet Sturdy Plant Support – The woven coir structure provides excellent support for climbing plants, vines, peas, beans, tomatoes and more. Its natural fibres are strong enough to guide stems upward while remaining gentle on plant tissue, reducing the risk of damage as plants grow.
- Improved Soil Stability – When used for soil reinforcement on slopes or around root zones, coir netting helps hold soil in place and reduces erosion — making it ideal for garden beds, landscaping projects and stabilised planting areas.
- Promotes Root Health & Growth – Coir naturally allows moisture and air to move freely, creating a balanced environment around roots and supporting deeper, healthier growth. The netting’s porous nature means roots and soil organisms continue to breathe and thrive.
Versatile Garden Applications
From staking and training to erosion control and decorative finishes, coir netting offers multi‑purpose utility:
- Training climbing and trailing plants
- Supporting topiary and espalier frameworks
- Securing soil on banks or slopes
- Integrating with edging and landscape features
- Crafting rustic plant supports and DIY garden projects
How to Use Coir Netting
- Measure & Position: Determine the length and area you wish to cover — from plant support to soil reinforcement.
- Secure in Place: Use natural twine, biodegradable ties or coir posts to fix the netting securely.
- Train Plants: Weave stems gently through the netting as they grow, ensuring support without constriction.
- Maintain Growth: Adjust plant ties periodically to accommodate natural growth patterns.
- Enjoy Organic Integration: Over time, the netting will naturally biodegrade, enriching the soil it once supported.
